​​​​​The GVGRA is a family-friendly local rodeo association, dedicated to an inexpensive place for family and friends to compete in their favorite rodeo events. We are a non-profit organization working to encourage continued participation by older and younger members. A yearly membership entitles you to year end awards and family fun events and is available for $30 annually. We do offer a family discount, which is $50 per family immediate family only and under 18. We try to hold weekly or bi-weekly jackpots, March - November which include barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying and breakaway roping. There are many special events throughout the year including our annual Halloween Jackpot. Our contestants range from the very advanced to the very beginner. GVGRA prides itself on its low cost. Our barrel racing is run in a 4-D/3-D format making a place for all levels to compete together. We have three divisions in our Barrel Racing: Open $25 entry fee, 18/40 $20 entry fee, Youth $15 entry fee. We have 3D Open Poles for only a $20 entry fee.

We have Pee Wee Division for all events for kids 10 and under entry fee is $3. Time Onlys 2 for $5, or $3 for one.  Bring cash they are pay at the gate.

We offer two Breakaway roping's a month with four levels. Open, Intermediate, Novice Person and Novice Horse. Entry fee's are $45 for Open, Intermediate, and Novice Person, 3 Head average. $45 for Novice Horse, 3 head average.

We even accommodate those members with special needs. All regulations and guidelines can be found in our rule book. You do not need to become a member to compete in our association,  but we give some fantastic year end awards to include things such as belt buckles, saddle pads, halters, rope cans, hat cans, jackets, bags, etc. just depending on our turnout through-out the year!
